ABOUT SaMaRaSa

‘SaMaRaSa’ - Sisters in Harmony, is a collective of women musicians from Bangalore, India, who believe that music not only entertains and elevates, but can also create change. Through performances and ideas that celebrate women, SaMaRaSa aims to bring fresh ideas to the way Carnatic and Indian classical music is presented and performed. 

 

SaMaRaSa is headlined by three accomplished musicians- vocalist Manasi Prasad , violinist Aditi Krishnaprakash and Mridangam player Deepikaa Sreenivasan. Individually, they have successfully solo careers as concert performers and recording artists. Together, they represent the collective energy of women in music, and the possibilities that music holds to inspire and empower others.
